Elden Ring system requirements talk about 12GB of RAM, but script maker takes text offline again

FromSoftware set the minimum system requirements for the Windows version of Elden Ring online and removed it shortly thereafter. These requirements are not modest: there is talk of an eighth-generation i5, GTX 1060 3 GB and 12 GB of RAM.

Specifically, FromSoftware is talking about Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X and Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 with 4GB of vram. These are the minimum requirements; Recommended specifications are not disclosed. after sites Signal and PC Gamer Capture data, FromSoftware retrieve text from file steam page turning off. This may mean that it has not yet been disclosed, or that it is incorrect. For example, PC Gamer guesses that maybe the recommended specs for 1080p60 gaming were not the minimum.

When the system requirements are correct, they are higher than most similar titles. If you put games like Horizon Zero Dawn, Far Cry 6, Halo Infinite, and Dying Light 2 next to it, you can see that the 8GB of RAM is enough all around. The requirements for video cards and processors are also lower, although the difference is often smaller.

Elden Ring will be released on February 25 for Windows, PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, and Series. Tweakers wrote in November preview from the game. Other games from the same studio include Dark Souls, Demon’s Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
