Eric Goossen Bankruptcy Declaration: ‘It Hurts’

Eric Goossen Bankruptcy Declaration: ‘It Hurts’

Actor and presenter Eric Goossens has to deal with a serious setback. His company has just declared bankruptcy.

Goossens was told this week in Antwerp companies court that his company Boxs no longer exists. The company has been around for years and has been involved in, among other things, marketing and holding events for organizations and brands and creating all kinds of content and branding.

Goossens announced the news himself. “Giving up work was not easy and painful. But it was necessary for myself and my future. Persevering now means letting go. I will take friends, knowledge and memories with me. I am grateful to everyone who gave me the opportunity to make a difference for them.”

Last year, Eric mentioned in an interview that his “war chest” had been completely exhausted after three years of crisis. It is not known whether there are any creditors.

More than twenty years ago, Goossens himself became embroiled in a fight when he came to demand his money back from a bankrupt company in Beerse. The victim – the manager – reported a robbery and said she suffered a concussion from the door being smashed and that her cell phone was stolen. Police thought the argument got out of hand.
