French Prime Minister Jean Castex announced that all French people over the age of 80 who received a booster dose more than three months ago will receive a fourth dose of the Corona vaccine. This is what the Prime Minister told the newspaper “Le Parisien”.
The Prime Minister also “strongly” recommended that “vulnerable persons who are vulnerable due to their advanced age or illness continue to wear masks in closed spaces and in large gatherings.”
Although coronavirus cases are on the rise in France again, relaxation will begin on Monday. “The improvement in hospitals and the high rate of vaccination means that measures will continue to be lifted,” Prime Minister Casteks said.
The mandatory vaccination card will be canceled on Monday. The so-called health card, which also works with a negative corona test, will then be used in healthcare institutions. The mouth mask obligation then applies only to public transportation and in healthcare facilities.
