Leaked images show Xiaomi 12 huge camera
A number of press photos of the Xiaomi 12 have appeared on the Internet. The famous tasty Evleaks posted the photos on his Twitter channel. The images are very sharp and show the unreleased device in all its glory. What is striking is the huge viewfinder on the back. It has a resolution of 50 megapixels. We don’t know yet if the rumors are true, which is Samsung’s all-new ISOCell GN2 sensor.
We also see slim bezels and a screen that curves slightly on the sides. Opinions are divided on this. Curved screens look elegant and create the illusion that the screen edges are thinner. In terms of functionality, however, the bends in the glass add up a little. They also make sticking to a screen protector very complicated.
The press images of the Xiaomi 12 show the device in three colors: green, blue and gray. The green version has a leather back (fake). We don’t see this often. The blue and gray variants seem to have a glass back. The colors are subtle.

Xiaomi is likely to announce three or four different models of the 12. There are rumors of the Xiaomi 12, 12 X, 12 Pro and 12 Ultra.
Inside we find the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. This is the strongest chip at the moment. The 12 Pro and 12 Ultra obviously use this chip, but it may be on more Xiaomi 12 models. Perhaps the cheapest model uses a less powerful 12 chip.
Although a lot of other things are still unclear about the Xiaomi 12 series, there is good news: clarity is coming soon. Xiaomi presents new smartphones on December 28. At least in China. The European announcement is likely to come only weeks later.
