Tonight, the famous artist Eminem will visit Fortnite, but whether it will be possible to see the rapper in action is very doubtful.
Tonight at 8:00 pm we will celebrate the beginning of Chapter 5 in Fortnite, and this celebration will be attended live by Eminem who will have to perform in the game. However, many players are unable to get into the game.
The start of a new season in Fortnite always gets a lot of hype and servers are often overloaded, meaning players often have to wait a few minutes before they can start.
But tonight’s wait seems exceptionally long. Millions of players around the world are probably glued to their consoles to celebrate the start of the match, and Fortnite developers seem unable to handle that well. Within the XBNL community, we hear messages with wait times exceeding 60 minutes. Whether Eminem can be seen in action is uncertain. We currently don’t know what capabilities Epic Games has to scale its servers quickly (pun intended). One might expect that they would be used to something at Epic.
