Intel Core i9-13900K with DDR4 support appears on CPU-Z website – Computer – News

A possible engineering sample for the Intel Core i9-13900K Raptor Lake series processor appeared on the CPU-Z website. The CPU speed is around 5GHz and tested with DDR4 memory. Lake Raptor is expected this year.

The CPU-Z listing mentions a maximum clock speed of 4.987 GHz on the P cores and 2.993 GHz on the E cores. With the release version, the clock speed is expected to reach 5.5GHz on P-cores. The processor has As expected 896KB of L1 cache, 32MB of L2 cache, 36MB of L3 cache, for a total of approximately 69MB. The sample was tested with the MSI Pro Z690-A motherboard, which has a bios version with Raptor Lake support available since the beginning of this month. CPU tested with 32GB DDR4-2660 memory. Raptor Lake will receive support for DDR4 and DDR5 memory, as will Alder Lake.

The Core i9-13900K sample scored a single thread score of 846 on the CPU-Z test, while the Core i9-12900K scored around 815. This corresponds to Previously posted by a Chinese reviewer, with a 13900K sample clocked at 831 at a clock speed of 5.1GHz. Due to the additional electronic cores, the multi-core score of the processor is 13054, where the Core i9-12900K achieved an average score of 8460. According to the CPU-Z website, the temperature of the processor was 100 degrees Celsius.

Intel is expected to officially announce its first Raptor Lake CPUs in September, with a possible release in October. The company previously announced that Raptor Lake should, among other things, deliver better performance and have more electronic cores than the current Alder Lake generation. CPUs use socket LGA-1700, just like Alder Lake.
