New iOS 17 features

1. Interactive widgets
iOS 16 was previously rumored, but never came to fruition: interactive widgets for your home screen. Not only do these devices update their information, but they can also show other keys and buttons. 2. Improved dynamic island

3. New control panel

In iOS 17, you’ll likely be able to customize the Control Center more than you can now, and you’ll likely have a new design, too. And who knows: With today’s large iPhones, Apple could also choose to put all the buttons on the bottom. Then you can finally reach it with your thumb.
4. Better search
The search function has become even more important in iOS 16, with a special search button at the bottom of the home screen. But the search function itself has remained unchanged for some time. In iOS 17, the search function will be greatly improved, with clearer results and a more powerful search engine.
5. Access options
In iOS 17, Apple wants to add new accessibility features that make using the iPhone more enjoyable for people with disabilities. It allows you to fully customize the lock screen and home screen, with larger widgets, a Dock you can hide, and larger app icons.
6. Performance improvement
In addition to new features, Apple is focusing on the performance and stability of the iPhone with iOS 17. Older devices in particular will benefit from this — which often has some difficulty with new updates — and that means support for these devices remains the same.
This means that the iPhone 8 (Plus) and iPhone X will also receive an update to iOS 17, despite previous rumors. Considering these devices have been on the market for six years, this will come as a pleasant surprise.
