Masks may make a comeback amid holiday ‘triads’ of Covid, flu and RSV

Three highly contagious respiratory viruses are infecting adults and children across the country, and with clusters just weeks away, public health officials are starting to talk about masks again.

While mask mandates are unlikely in most parts of the country, health experts are renewing recommendations for wearing a high-quality medical mask on public transportation, airports, airplanes, shops, and other crowded public spaces.
