Nowadays, Stellantis is working on putting as many different models as possible on the same technical basis. So you can see the new Citroën C3/ë-C3 Aircross as the French cousin of the recently introduced car Opel Frontera: Both are based on the Smart Car platform that Stellantis introduced on the younger generation of Citroen C3.
Although the body of this electric or non-electric SUV is only 4.39 meters long, the French manufacturer promises an interior of up to seven seats. In profile, the new C3 Aircross cannot hide its affinity with the Opel Frontera, but otherwise it shows itself as a true Citroen.

You will also be able to order the new Citroën C3 Aircross as an electric ë-C3 Aircross. So, you have the choice between a supercharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol power source (available with or without mild-hybrid support at 48V) and an electric-motor variant. The new Citroën C3 Aircross will make its official debut during the summer, when Stellantis will release more information about, among other things, the battery capacity and possible charging speed. The price promises to be very competitive.
