Philips TV markets OLED909 and OLED959 OLED TVs

Philips OLED+959

The flagship OLED+959 model will be launched in the third quarter with a 65-inch screen size. The OLED model combines the new 8th generation P5 AI dual-engine processor with META 2.0 technology. The TV is equipped with Ambilight Plus and a 102W integrated Bowers & Wilkins 5.1.2 sound system.

The audio system includes front, left, center, right (LCR) speakers, with each tweeter housing two 30mm x 50mm midrange drivers plus a 19mm titanium dome tweeter per channel (with tube solution (known as B&W Nautilus). The left and right side tweeters each have two additional 30 x 50mm tweeters, while the Atmos channels also have two 30 x 50mm tweeters for both the left and right tweeters. All speakers are acoustically isolated and mounted in their own rigid enclosures. On the back of the device is a dedicated bass enclosure with a 75mm subwoofer supported by four 45mm x 65mm passive radiators. For viewers who want deeper sound, the OLED+959 offers the option to connect an external subwoofer.

The OLED+959 can be wall-mounted or placed on the floor with its simple, mid-tone aluminum and steel stand. The front, side and top speaker enclosures are also covered in gray Kadvrat Audiomix fabric.

Philips OLED+909

The Philips OLED+909 will be available in June in 55-inch, 65-inch and 77-inch screen sizes. This TV has the new 8th generation P5 AI processing, META Technology 2.0, 81W Bowers & Wilkins 3.1 channel sound system and four-sided Ambilight. The audio system features a newly developed 30 x 50mm driver and a 19mm titanium tweeter for each speaker (front facing, left, center, right LCR). Each speaker is acoustically isolated within its hard shell. On the back of the device there is a special bass enclosure with a 75 mm subwoofer supported by four passive radiators. The OLED+ 909 also offers the option to connect an external subwoofer.

The optimal picture quality of both new OLED TV series is achieved by combining the new 8th generation version of the P5 AI Dual Engine processor, the new META 2.0 OLED panel and the META Multi Booster algorithm. The META 2.0 panel features Micro Lens Array Plus technology. This provides improved light efficiency thanks to new 3D MLA lens analyzers that optimize the angles and curvature of MLA lenses. The addition of the new META Multi Booster algorithm enables up to 3000 nits of brightness.

Ambilight Plus

The new Ambilight Plus system will be launched with both models. Ambilight Plus enhances the Ambilight experience by adding multiple lenses to the rear-mounted color LEDs. Ambilight Plus can therefore create a more dynamic and larger halo with greater accuracy and display up to four different halos at different depths. This adds a new 2D effect.

Both OLED+ models offer an enhanced gaming experience via the new Game Bar, MEMC function and 144HZ VRR (including Dolby Vision Gaming mode). In addition, the TVs support the Matter standard for smart home and Control 4. Both OLED TV series are also equipped with an HDMI 2.1 port, support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and Google's operating system as a smart TV platform.

Philips OLED809

In addition to the two premium series, TP Vision is launching the mid-range 800 OLED TV series. Available in 42-, 48-, 55-, 65- and 77-inch screen sizes, the new OLED809 continues to raise the bar by combining the new 8th generation P5 AI processor with new high-output OLED-EX panels – with a peak light output of 1,300 nits. The sets also feature a three-sided version of Ambilight technology.

The 8th generation P5 AI features new Ambient Intelligence V3 that now optimizes HDR settings to ambient light levels and maintains excellent HDR performance even in bright viewing conditions and heavily lit rooms. The gaming experience is enhanced with the addition of a new Game Bar and 144kHz MEMC and VRR gaming, including Dolby Vision Gaming.

Additionally, the OLED809 features an integrated 70W 2.1 sound system – 50W for the 42″ – with a more precise “digital crossover” that precisely controls distribution to the left and right “2-way” speakers, as well as a “dedicated treble speaker” loop ', rear bass speaker – powered by four 'passive radiators'.

The European design of the OLED809 is well-known by Philips. Features an ultra-thin black metal frame and swivel metal base finished in satin chrome. Satin chrome extruded metal feet are featured on the 77-inch version of the product.
