“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands is free of complaints and is allowed out of isolation. Princess Beatrix tested positive for corona last weekend and has since been isolated at home due to complaints of mild cold,” a report from RVD reads.
On December 4, it was announced that Beatrix had tested positive for the coronavirus. The princess had mild cold symptoms and was in isolation at home. RVD has announced that the princess has adhered to the rules of life for people who have tested positive.
Princess Beatrix returned home the previous weekend after a four-day working visit to Curaçao. There, she said that she received twice the anti-coronavirus and already received a booster injection. She returned late Sunday evening, Dutch time, on her scheduled KLM flight.
Princess Beatrix began her work visit with a strict application of a distance of two meters, as is mandatory on the island, because she wanted to stay in her “bubble” as much as possible. She was also wearing a face mask at the beginning of the visit. Corona rules such as maintaining distance and always wearing a mouth covering during the visit were not followed.
Because the princess was in seclusion, she missed her granddaughter Amalia’s 18th birthday.
