Real Madrid and Milan trained against each other in Pasadena yesterday as they toured America in preparation for the new season. Real won 3-2.
Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois remained on the Real Madrid bench, with Alexis Salemacher and Charles de Guetelaer coming on 20 minutes before the end in Milan.
Real goalie Andrej Lonin took 2 shots before the break from Tomori and Romero. But just before the hour, Valverde pulled that right with 2 goals after defensive mistakes, and then Vinicius Junior sealed the win 5 minutes from time after a good assist from Modric.
Valverde scored 2 goals at Real and was named man of the match.
