Realme has announced a budget version of the Realme GT. The GT Neo 2 has a top screen and a powerful chipset, but it comes at an accessible price of 318 euros.

Realme has In China announced a new smartphone in the GT range, a mid-range phone that inherits certain features of a flagship. This starts with the screen. Realme GT 2 Neo has a 6.6 inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate for smooth animations. It is a screen made by Samsung, and the high brightness of 1100 nits proves that it is of high quality.
Realme’s GT series means speed, and this phone doesn’t seem to be lacking in that. The engine is the Snapdragon 870, which is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865, the high-end Qualcomm processor from 2020. The GT Neo 2 is available with 6/8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage. Furthermore, the smartphone has a large 5000mAh battery that you can charge using a 65W fast charger.
Cooling technology and cameras
Because of this powerful performance, Realme has developed a new technology to control the temperature of your smartphone. It is a new cooling gel with diamond particles used in the slides. The device also has a steam room cooling system. This is a method by which heat spreads through the entire phone through pressure through small tubes. The liquid turns into a gas and then returns to a liquid to cool the slide.
So far we’ve seen incredibly powerful specs, but like many other mid-range price fighters, manufacturers are saving on camera sensors. Realme uses a 64MP main camera without optical image stabilization, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera hidden in the screen hole on the left.

Price and availability
Realme GT Neo 2 is currently only announced in China, where it costs 317 euros. This is the cheapest model with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It is not yet known if the smartphone will also come to the Netherlands, but we raised the question at Realme. We will update this article as soon as we receive an answer. The phone will be released in China in black, green and blue gradient colors.
