Yesterday’s match between Belgium and Sweden was the penultimate match in the European Championship preliminary round for the Red Devils. The match was stopped after the end of the first half with a 1-1 draw due to a shooting in Brussels that led to the death of two Swedish fans.

The Belgians’ eighth and final qualifying match in Group F will take place on November 19 at 6pm.
12/2/23: European Championship draw in Hamburg
The Elbphilharmonie Theater in Hamburg is the draw theater for the final round. The evening starts at six in the evening, you can watch it live on Sporza.
The 24 participating countries are placed into 4 pots, from which 6 groups are drawn. Host country Germany is in Pot 1 of the seeds. If the Belgians definitely want to qualify, they need 6 from 6 against Sweden and Azerbaijan. Then they are the group winners with enough points. At 4 out of 6 there is a chance that they will drop out of school, and at 3 out of 6 the chance is greater.
3/21-3/26/24: Training matches
There is another international window for European countries at the end of March. Then the qualifiers will be held for the last 3 tickets to the European Championship based on the Nations League.
Belgium already has a ticket to the European Championship, so it has the time and space to play friendly matches. It is not yet known who and where they are against.
5/26/24: End of national competitions
In a major summer tournament year, all national competitions end on a specific day. We will know the champion in Belgium on May 26 at the latest, as is the case in Spain and Italy. In France, it is May 18, and in England it is May 19.

6/7/24: Final selection for the European Championship
National coach Domenico Tedesco must officially announce his selection of 23 players (including 3 goalkeepers) a full 7 days before the opening match.
14/6-14/7/24: Final round of the European Championship
On June 14, host nation Germany will play the opening match at the Allianz Arena in Munich at 9 p.m. The opponent will not be known until the draw is held on December 2.
The final will be held on July 14 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
