SK Beveren did a great job, and Club NXT made another appearance in the CPL

SK Beveren continued their upward trajectory after beating Heysel tonight. De Decker’s team can rely on the strong Limbombe against RSCA Futures. Club NXT took down Number Three after an impressive comeback. At the top, Beerschot and Zsolt Waregem are doing a great job this weekend.

In the Challenger Pro League, Beerschot and Isifi already did a great job at the top earlier this weekend. Tonight some teams were hoping to jump on their bandwagon. Deinze competed against Club NXT, while RSCA Futures faced SK Beveren in Heysel.

Extreme cold paralyzes goal production

Futures made mincemeat of Essevee last week and also started off excellently tonight. In the first quarter, goalkeeper Reus was twice alert for Uri’s attempts. Salic, on the other hand, nodded at the opportunity for the first visit. The ketchup bottle opens in Limbombe, a great comeback from Club NXT

We were hoping for more excitement after the break in Brussels, but even in the second half it remained difficult for both teams to create scoring chances. Midway through the second half, Ori was allowed to shoot the ball into the penalty area, but his effort was barely blocked by Pato. On the follow-up, Reus took a place ball from Bouchouari out of the way.

Immediately afterwards, Limbomb provided salvation at the other end: he cut in from the left and with a powerful strike brought down Kosemans at the short corner. The Waaslanders winger once again became the absolute champion, and in the end completely settled the match with another powerful strike: 0-2. With an impressive 14/18 result, SKB returned to the Challenger Pro League.

Right after the break, Deinze had a lot of bad luck again. Within ten minutes, De Schriever and Van Landshut both scored. Just before the hour mark, the home team’s dominance turned into a deserved lead: Hendricks accurately executed a free-kick and Lemoine headed the ball 1-0 into the net.

However, the East Flemish team could not enjoy this lead for long, and after a few minutes Tibi equalized the score: 1-1. Young Blau Zwart completely turned the tables: Homa guided Firas through the offside trap and made it 1-2 fifteen minutes from time. In the absolute final, Odor overcame everything with a powerful blow: 1-3. The match ended on a raucous note when the visitors celebrated in front of the home fans and Da Silva was hit in the head with a trophy. Club NXT puts Deinze firmly in the title fight.
