The Belgian women took provisional third place in the team competition at EC Gymnastics | gymnastics EC

The Belgian ladies have already completed their team competition in Antalya. The Belgian pentathlon was in the first session of the day and scored 154,996 points in the four exercises (beam, vault, bars and floor).

At the moment, only Romania is the best, so it remains to be seen if the Belgians will reach the coveted top five. In any case, a World Cup ticket to Antwerp seems almost certain.

Despite falling on beam (just like Brassart and Verkest (2x)), Lisa Vaelen is doing well in the all-around competition. With 52,498 points, it is well in the lead, although of course the ranking is still very patchy.

Vaelen also scored 14.166 on vault and 14.000 on bars, two events where she was also on track for an individual final. Fien Enghels also has a chance to get a place in the final on the bridge.
