The FIA investigates a conflict of interest between Mercedes president Toto Wolff and his wife Suzy

Did the Mercedes team boss and his wife get into trouble? The International Automobile Federation (FIA) is investigating whether the two leaked information to each other.

Toto Wolff has been the head of the Mercedes Formula 1 team for many years, and his wife Suzy works at Formula 1 Management (FOM), which runs Formula 1 commercially.

It is said that Toto Wolff obtained information in this way that is not available to everyone. He allegedly made a mistake in a meeting with other team bosses.

Susie Wolfe will then become aware of discussions between team leaders that may be important to FOM.

FIA President Ben Sulayem investigated the matter. “The FIA is aware of media speculation. Confidential information may have been passed to the Formula 1 team boss by a member of the FOM team,” he said.
