Tidaldividual is consolidating subscriptions and getting cheaper

Tidal currently has two different subscriptions. For example, there is a HiFi subscription for €10.99 per month with 16-bit audio and a sample rate of 44.1 kHz with a choice of over 100 million songs in FLAC format. Isn't that enough for you? Then you can also choose from HiFi Plus for €19.99 per month. Then you get access to 24-bit and 192kHz audio including HiRes Flac, Dolby Atmos, and more. However, both subscriptions will disappear, as the music streaming service changes course and launches Tidaldividual.

Individual tides

As of April 10 there will only be one subscription. A single Tidal subscription will soon cost €10.99, but gives access to the sound quality of the now more expensive Hifi Plus subscription. This means up to 24-bit, 192kHz, HiRes FLAC, and Dolby Atmos, but at a cheaper price. Do you still have the more expensive subscription? Starting April 10, you'll automatically be switched to the cheaper subscription. Please note that DJ integration is not available as standard in the new subscription model, you will have to purchase it optionally for €9 per month. Tidal Family, a subscription for the whole family, remains available for €16.99 per month.

The music streaming service is having a tough time with giants like Spotify and Apple Music. Both streaming services are more popular than Tidal. The music streaming service is now hoping to change the trend by attracting more subscribers with higher sound quality at a lower price.
