The governor of the occupied Luhansk region said in a television interview that Ukraine had bombed the headquarters of the notorious Wagner paramilitary organization. According to the man, several deaths have been reported.

“They had a little commotion there, exactly where Wagner’s headquarters was. A large number of them perished there,” Ukrainian Governor Serhiy Gaidai said. He said Ukrainian forces launched an attack on a hotel in Kadyevka, west of Luhansk, on Saturday. “I am sure that what At least 50 percent of the survivors will die before receiving medical care.” “This is because equipment was stolen even in our Luhansk region.”
Meanwhile, images of a building largely in ruins are circulating on messaging app Telegram. Gaidai’s statements cannot currently be independently verified. There was no reaction from Russia to these statements.
The Wagner Group is seen as a private army widely known to do dirty jobs for the Kremlin. It would be mercenaries who often spent time in prison.
