According to the local authorities, Russian forces fired on evacuation buses that left the besieged city of Mariupol with a number of children on board. This was reported by the Interfax-Ukraine news agency. It is said that four children are in the hospital.
Allegedly the facts happened yesterday. According to the head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Staruch, two of the children were said to be in serious condition.
“Today, more than 20 buses are trying to exit through humanitarian corridors,” he stated on his Telegram channel on Monday. It was not easy, because the bombing was going on.”

They also hit the target. “Four children were taken to the hospital,” he continues. “Three children were targeted in the former Hulyabilsky district. Families were on their way from Mariupol, hoping to escape.”
According to Staruch, one of the injured children is said to be in serious condition.
