Verstappen could equal this feat in Austin

Verstappen could equal this feat in Austin

Max Verstappen has already set the record for the most this season. The Dutchman extended his world title a week and a half ago in Qatar. However, that doesn’t mean the brand new world champion will back down now. However, this weekend in Austin, he can make history again as he can equal his own record.

Verstappen is having a very strong season in Formula 1. The Red Bull driver is almost unbeatable and he has won almost everything. He only managed to win three Grands Prix this season, with only Sergio Perez (twice) and Carlos Sainz able to beat him. Also, Verstappen is unbeatable and can make sure he can set another record this season.

Verstappen has fourteen wins this season. If he wins in Austin this weekend, he will make it fifteen in 2023. Anyone looking at the stats would see Verstappen equaling his own record from 2022. Last year he broke the record for most hits in a season. He later took over the record from Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel. With a win in Austin, Verstappen has leveled himself and can therefore beat his own record in Mexico.
