A touching moment on Friday evening at Elindus Arena during the match between Zulte Waregem and Royal Antwerp FC. The late Jack (11) was honored with “You’ll Never Walk Alone” at the eleventh minute by both clans of fans.

Jacques was a youth player at Royal Cappellen FC, who also trained regularly with the youth of Antwerp. The footballer was seriously injured on Tuesday in a tragic accident at a primary school in Ecrine. He died two days later.
Antwerp Dynamite, a group of RAFC’s Joe, called for the use of the song “You’ll Never Walk Alone” on the eleventh minute, Jack Era. Zulte Waregem asked on its social media for the support of the visiting fans and this was followed up vocally. From the main stage there was a minute of applause and the visitors opened a banner that read “Superjack”. Greetings.
After the whistle, the Antwerp players carried the flag onto the field. In doing so, they were accompanied by Jack’s father, who could hardly hold back his tears.
A minute’s silence will be held before all youth matches in Antwerp this weekend.
