Twitter contributor sues Elon Musk for breach of contract | Economie

A contributor to the social network Twitter is suing billionaire Elon Musk. The latter blew up a 44 billion-euro takeover deal last month.

It is about a shareholder who owns 5,500 shares of Twitter. Musk is accused of breach of contract based on fallacies and wants the deal to go through. With the indictment, the shareholder wants to start a class action lawsuit against the billionaire.

Musk, the founder of electric car maker Tesla and space company SpaceX, announced in April that he wanted to buy Twitter for $44 billion. However, last month he canceled the deal because the platform is not transparent enough about the number of fake and random accounts.

Twitter then sued Musk in an attempt to get the entrepreneur to fulfill its obligations under the agreement. The trial will begin on October 17. It was announced last Friday that Musk himself has now filed a complaint against Twitter.

The proceedings are pending before a court in the US state of Delaware. The Twitter contributor also raised his case there.
