A plane belonging to the German airline Lufthansa, on its way from Munich to Bangkok in Thailand, was forced to make an emergency landing in the Indian city of Delhi. The reason was a completely out of control quarrel between a German man and his Thai wife.
The 509-seat Airbus A380 took off shortly after 10pm last night on a flight that took almost 11 hours. At first everything went smoothly, but after a few hours there was an uproar in the economy. A 53-year-old German man quarreled with his Thai wife, and their feelings became so heated that the woman asked the crew for help because she did not feel safe. It was like a red rag for the bull with her husband.
According to the Indian news website The Telegraph, he began throwing food, tried to set fire to a blanket using a lighter, and then smashed his smartphone. He took off his clothes and punched other passengers who tried to calm him down. “I will kill you all,” he shouted.

When the plane landed safely, six Indian soldiers boarded and took the German man away. Other passengers were prohibited from taking photos or videos. Nothing is known yet about the cause of the marital dispute, according to the Indian news agency ANI. After removing the unruly passenger, the plane continued its flight. The man’s wife also remained on board.
