You may have seen his work appear many times. Especially in Edegem – where he lives – and the rest of Antwerp, but also elsewhere in Belgium and even as far away as Sweden and Mexico. Bart Budewijns, 51, offers a behind-the-scenes look at how he, as SMOK, brought the color palette of the animal kingdom to our streets. “Young people can now experiment without worrying about getting caught.
