A while ago, it was announced that the character Riri Williams aka Ironheart will be getting her own series on Disney+. Now it becomes clear that actress Dominic Thorne The part will already play in a second Black Panther-Movie.
Ironheart first appeared in the comics in 2016 and was an instant hit. So it’s no surprise that Marvel Studios is also bringing it to the silver screen. It can be considered the successor to Iron Man.
You probably know Thorne from the movie If Bill Street could talk Studio head Kevin Feige confirmed that she will be appearing for the first time Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. This shows that her background is changing compared to her story in the comics.
“We’re currently filming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and you’ll meet Riri Williams’ character for the first time in Black Panther 2,” Feige revealed. “I actually started shooting before the Ironheart series even started.”

In the comics, Rory Williams is a 15-year-old tech student and daughter of the late Rory Williams, Sr. After her father’s death, Riri lives with her mother, Ronnie, in Chicago.
Riri designs functional armor similar to Iron Man that puts her in contact with Tony Stark. He decides to support her in her desire to become a superhero.
