Four years after solving their first murder, Audrey and Nick are trying to launch their own detective agency. But when they are invited to a private island wedding of their friend, a Maharaja (a type of Indian monarch), the two run into trouble. Investigators there witness a murder and kidnapping of the groom. So Audrey and Nick Spitz end up in a murder mystery again. Everyone is skeptical: every wedding guest, every family member, even the bride. To save the Maharaja, the couple must travel to Paris with professional detectives. There are amazing scenes. In the trailer you can see, among other things, that Audrey is actually hanging from the Eiffel Tower.
The first movie released in 2019 was a huge success. The comedy, starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, was watched by a whopping 31 million accounts in its opening weekend on Netflix. In doing so, Murder Mystery broke the record for a Bird Box movie, and the film had the biggest opening weekend ever in the streaming service’s history.
Murder Mystery 2 is available on Netflix from March 31st.
