Juneyao Air also begins scheduled service between Brussels and Shanghai

Tickets for this scheduled service are now available for purchase on Juneyao Air's website. Flights will depart from Shanghai every Monday, Friday and Sunday at 1:55 a.m. and arrive in Brussels at 8:15 a.m. local time. The return flight departs 3.5 hours later, at 11:50 AM.

Juneyao Air uses Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on all long-haul flights with space for 324 passengers, of which 29 are in business class and the rest in economy class.

Hainan Airlines
It was previously announced that Hainan Airlines will resume its scheduled service between Brussels and Shanghai Pudong from June, after a five-year interruption. It is already the third Chinese destination linking Hainan to the Belgian capital. The others are Beijing and Shenzhen.

From June 18, the airline will fly between Brussels and Shanghai four times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, also using the 787-9.

Including Junyao Airlines flights, a non-stop passenger flight between the two cities will soon depart almost daily (except Wednesdays).

far East
Although Brussels Airlines has no plans to fly to the Far East, the airport is becoming better connected to that part of the world. For example, Singapore Airlines will begin scheduled service to Singapore in April.

Moreover, All Nippon Airways connects the airport with Tokyo. It is not yet clear when Thai Airways will resume scheduled service to Bangkok.
