European Open
Stefanos Tsitsipas begins his European Open campaign tonight. The first Greek player will play against the Dutchman Boteach van de Zandschulp in the second round. Watch the live broadcast of the match here.
Tonight Stefanos Tsitsipas (ATP-7) will play for the first time at the European Open. The 25-year-old Greek is a world-class player. At the beginning of this year he played the Australian Open final (against Novak Djokovic).
In recent weeks, Tsitsipas has been looking for his best form. Will he find him in Antwerp?
Heroism is close to his heart. “It all started for me in Antwerp,” Tsitsipas says of the 2017 edition, when he reached the semi-finals carrying number 122 at the Lotto Arena.
His opponent in the second round is the Netherlands. You may remember Boteach van de Zandschulp (ATP-67) from the US Open when he reached the quarterfinals as a qualifier in 2021.
