A volcano exploded in Rome thanks to a Belgian. Mile Svilar crowned himself a great hero against Feyenoord with two crucial saves in a series of penalties. Romelu Lukaku, who missed his 11th metre, also celebrated enthusiastically.

It didn't take long for things to start going well during the Roma-Feyenoord match.

Just 5 minutes later, goalkeeper Santiago Jimenez scored the 0-1 goal into the net with his arm/shoulder. After a long evaluation, the Mexican got the benefit of the doubt through VAR.

There was no dispute about Pellegrini's equalizer.

With a beautiful strike, the Italian caused the Olympic Stadium to explode fifteen minutes later.

After great goals in the first fifteen minutes, the game came to a grinding halt in terms of production.

Mile Svilar barely had to roll up his sleeves, and Romelu Lukaku was never able to get up front. After an unseen game, the Red Devils had a chance to crown themselves great champions in the 88th minute, but the ball did not fall well enough to end the game.

Svilar champion in penalty kicks

Extensions in Rome, that is.

But neither team was able to find their way to score in the extra 30 minutes. Who was closest to scoring goals? Lukaku.

In the last minute, the striker had a great chance into the corner, but Wellenreuther (a former Anderlecht player) produced a brilliant display to drag the action to penalties.

Two Belgians played leading roles in it. Romelu Lukaku was the first to miss the penalty kick.
