showbizFrom November 20 to 25, the “Day of Red Noses” intersects throughout Flanders. At 12 locations where the giant Red Nose has parked, there is plenty to experience: from dazzling DJ sessions to musical fireworks. “The Red Nose Day On Tour” officially begins on Saturday 20 November at 7am in Roeselare.




There are unique activities in each city, ranging from cinema and sports to musical fireworks. Several performers also take part in a show: Sean Dhondt gives a stunning circus show in Sint-Niklaas and DJ Dimitri Wouters in Aalst gathers some pals to build a real Red Nose party. In Tienen signs get ready! And 2 Fabiola for the ambiance at “Tienen om te Zien” and the audience is welcome in the après-ski group with real snow. Metejoor and Cookies And Cream would love to meet you for a rooftop concert at Wijnegem Shopping Centre, and in Erperheide in Peer, Regi takes the Walk On Water party very literally with an amazing concert at Aqua Mundo. The entire tour and all activities related to it can also be followed live throughout the week via HLN LIVE and via a modified program on Qmusic. The radio station also offers its playlist for sale throughout the week. Listeners can dial one number for one euro via SMS thus supporting Red Nose Day. VTM Julie van den Steen, Laura Tesoro and DJ Vincent Ferenc Qmusic alternately face a number of “live” initiatives in the spotlight each day at Red Nose Day’s mobile studio. During Red Nose Day on November 26 is an all-day celebration. At peak, Qmusic broadcasts “The Red Nose Day Playlist – 10 Hours of Live Music” for 10 hours. Hans Franken will then receive the entirety of Flanders Music at the Qmusic studio for a live music marathon. At 8.40pm the “Love For Music Special” starts at VTM full of special stories and great music. After that, the final result of all Red Nose Day performances will be announced live on VTM.

Red Nose Day is an initiative of VTM, HLN, Qmusic and Belfius, which focuses on the mental health of young people. This year the focus is on teachers. If you want to organize a business or make a donation, you can do so at rodeneuzendag.be.
