A finalist for Miss Universe Australia, she died in tragic circumstances. Sienna Weir, 23, suffered a fatal fall from her horse on April 2. Yesterday the agonizing decision was made to take her off the ventilator.
The Sydney model was hospitalized in critical condition a month ago. Despite the intensive care needed, the battle is now lost.
Weir made it to the last 27 candidates in 2022 to represent Australia in the Miss Universe pageant. In the same competition, she eventually made it to the top 15.
Ware has degrees in English literature and psychology. I plan to move to London in the next few years. This allowed her to spend more time with her family, but also to expand her professional network.
In an interview with Gold Coast Magazine, Weir said her passion for horseback riding sets her apart from other Miss Universe contestants. “My family does not understand where this love comes from, but I have been doing it since I was three years old. I now train two to three times a week, and I also participate in competitions every two weeks.”
Expressions of sympathy poured in on social media. “Heaven won the most beautiful angel. I will miss everything about you, Sienna. I love you. I am so happy to know you, thank you for everything,” one of her best friends wrote.
Her sudden death left a void in everyone who knew her. However, it will never be forgotten. Sienna, you were one of the sweetest people to ever walk the planet. You know better than anyone how to light up a room. Wherever you are, I hope you are the fairy we all know so well,” commented photographer Chris Dwyer.
