'The burden has fallen off my shoulders': Sean Dondt returns to new Qmusic radio station after 'resigning' | Showbiz

ShowbitsToday Qmusic introduces a new radio station on DAB+. “Q-AllStars” focuses on the best classics. So, expect soulful pop music from Qmusic's early years (2000-2015), as well as beloved hits from the 80s and 90s. Sean Döndt, Ulrike Dauer and Tom de Kock keep listeners company. Sean in particular stands out, because he announced before the summer that he was fired from Qmusic after years of loyal service.

They are one Q-Allstars after another. “Qmusic has always been at the forefront of digital innovation and creativity. We continue this tradition by launching our newest radio station Q-Allstars. From Snow Patrol and U2, to K's Choice and Katy Perry. Every day, Q-Allstars delivers the biggest hits from the new millennium, with a strong '90s flavor and a good dash of '80s. From Monday to Friday, Tom de Kock (9:00am – 12:00pm), Sean Dhondt (12:00pm – 3:00pm) and Ulrike Dauer (3:00pm – 6:00pm) keep listeners company during the day. Their work is a musical trip down memory lane.

For Sean Dondt, this means returning to Qmusic, having also been a guest DJ for JOE over the Christmas break. “It's so cool and exciting to be making radio for Q again. And what's even sweeter and more exciting is to help build a brand new station that fits perfectly into my DNA as a pop music fan. All the hits from the 80s and 90s, complemented only by the best songs from the decades that followed.” “I look forward to taking listeners back into the world of my musical dreams every afternoon,” says Sean.
