At Halibut Cove, a venue in the US state of Alaska, the drama was narrowly avoided on Tuesday. Eyewitness footage shows a boat circling a seaplane for minutes. The captain’s wife is not shy about risks: at different times the boat skips the plane.

Those were frightening moments for the passengers and the pilot in the seaplane. The passengers were planning to head towards Katmai National Park. However, the captain’s wife’s boat prevented the plane from safely taking off. Only after another boat appeared and pressured the lady to move away from the plane, the plane was able to take off.

It is not yet known why the woman wanted to stop the plane. Despite the seriousness of the situation, there were no injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
