Samsung used a very special asset in its fight against Apple. Thanks to a special application, iPhone users can get a unique look at the interface of their Android smartphone.

The iPhone app is aptly named: “Try Galaxy.” You can install it on Safari via this QR code. The app allows iPhone users to test the features of Android’s One UI 5.1 and Samsung Galaxy S23 series.

In fact, this app is a web app, but you can still place it on your iPhone’s home screen, as if it were a “real” app from the App Store. The Galaxy Experience launched last year, but Android only recently added the Samsung Galaxy S23 and One UI 5.1 features.

iPhone users can enjoy, among other things:the night‘, Photo Remaster and customizable home screens.

These new features join existing Try Galaxy features, including: Samsung Health, Samsung Kids, Smart Switch, Messages, Object Scan, and more.

There are probably a few die-hard iPhone users who would like to switch to Android. And this is not necessary at all. The app is developed as a demo, which means you can only test the features and not adopt them. It is undoubtedly an odd experience if you are only used to the iOS interface. To see how it works, you can easily create your own QR code online and just try it out.

Try Galaxy Only available for iPhone 7 or later. The application supports fourteen different languages. We are unlucky, because there is no Dutch version. So, if you want to take a look into the Android world, you can do so with Try Galaxy.
