Week 11 of 2024 These toys were the best sellers in Belgium last week

Every week the Belgian Video Games Federation (VGFB) brings us a list of the top 5 best-selling games in Belgium.

In Week 11 of 2024, there are notable games in the top five. In first place is EA Sports FC 24. According to EA, EA Sports FC 24 has 20% of the number of completely new players, so you do not have a save game from FIFA 23. EA Sports FC 24 is the beginning of a new chapter for Electronic Arts after separating from FIFA. EA Sports FC features over 30 leagues, over 700 teams, and over 19,000 licensed footballers. Realism and physics just got better this year with Hypermotion V, which uses data from over 180 footballers. In the summer of 2024, EA Sports will receive FC 24, a free update for EURO 2024.

Co-op shooter Helldivers 2 takes second place in week 11. In Helldivers 2 you play a soldier who must protect Super Earth from evil aliens on distant planets. You do this by invading surrounding planets and banishing aliens. Helldivers 2 can be played on PC and PlayStation 5. There were several server issues upon release, but most of the issues have now been resolved.

Number 3 is very interesting, because it's a classic, Command & Conquer Generals. The fact that this game is now selling very well is because EA has put a collection consisting of 10 games and 7 expansions on sale on Steam for just €9.98. Classics like Command & Conquer Generals, the less well-received Command & Conquer 4, and the fantastic Red Alert 3 Rising have also sold a lot in recent days. When you purchase a game separately, the price of the set is reduced by the price of the game you already own. Offer still available. For €9.98, you can get the Nostalgia Pack on Steam which consists of the following games:

  • Command and conquer
  • Command and Conquer: Covert Operations
  • Command and Conquer: Red Alert
  • Command and Conquer: Red Alert: Counter Strike
  • Command and Conquer: Red Alert: Consequences
  • Command and Conquer: Shams Tiberias
  • Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun Firestorm
  • Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2
  • Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge
  • Command and Conquer: Rebel
  • Command and Conquer: The Generals
  • Command and Conquer: Generals: Zero Hour
  • Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
  • Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars: Wrath of Kain
  • Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3
  • Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3: Uprising
  • Command and Conquer 4: Shafaq al-Tabari

In fourth place is Rainbow Six Siege, another game that we can almost call a classic, because this strategy shooter is almost 10 years old. Ubisoft continues to update this game regularly with new content, including new operators and maps. As a result, player engagement remains high and you can see that the almost 10-year-old shooter could easily end up in the top 5 selling games of the week again.

Finally, in fifth place comes GTA V, a game that we have not seen among the top 5 games in recent weeks. Maybe because there have been so many big new games released in recent weeks. GTA V is back and it's very nice, because this game is now 10 years old. No game sells as well as GTA V. More than 195 million copies have been sold so far.
