Week 13 of 2024 These toys were the best sellers in Belgium last week

Every week the Belgian Video Games Federation (VGFB) brings us a list of the top 5 best-selling games in Belgium.

In week 13 of 2024, EA Sports FC 24 was able to regain first place after the football game fell a few places, due to the appearance of many new games in recent weeks. According to EA, EA Sports FC 24 has 20% of the player population being completely new, meaning they do not have a save game from FIFA 23. EA Sports FC 24 marks the beginning of a new chapter for Electronic Arts after cutting ties with FIFA. EA Sports FC features over 30 leagues, over 700 teams, and over 19,000 licensed footballers. Realism and physics just got better this year with Hypermotion V, which uses data from over 180 footballers. In the summer of 2024, EA Sports will receive FC 24, a free update for EURO 2024.

In second place is Princess Peach Showtime, which is the only game where the hero is not Mario but Princess Peach. The stage is taken over by the villain Wicked Grape. Peach goes to every show in the theater to save the actors and the show from the corruption of the Wicked Grape. The princess does this in collaboration with Stella, who has magical powers and can transform Peach. There are 10 transformations in the game including Kung Fu Peach, Chef Peach, Ninja Peach and Mermaid Peach.

Next in third place is the multiplayer co-op shooter Helldivers 2, which was a huge hit for Sony and developer Arrowhead Games. In Helldivers 2 you play a soldier who must protect Super Earth from evil aliens on distant planets. You do this by invading surrounding planets with other players and fending off aliens. Helldivers 2 can be played on PC and PlayStation 5. There were several server issues upon release, but these have now been resolved.

Issues 4 and 5 feature returning games, namely Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and GTA V. Activision has kicked off Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, with several new maps, modes, and other content. This has undoubtedly increased sales. GTA V is a game that has been selling great for years. While the fanbase is eagerly awaiting the release of GTA 6, GTA Online is still being played en masse.
