But… as cliché as it sounds, it’s true: prevention is better than cure! Is your tank squeaky clean again after following our tips? So keep it clean and prevent it from getting dirty again! how? By doing or not doing the following:
1. A small daily round of cleaning
If you really want to keep your stainless steel sink beautiful and clean, it is recommended to clean the sink every day. This doesn’t have to be a lot of scrubbing, but it is often enough to remove food residue every day with soapy water and a clean stainless steel surface.
2. Do not put dirty dishes in the sink
It’s very tempting to put dirty dishes in the sink (so they’re less visible) until they’ve been cleaned. However, it is better not to do this. All food and drink residues cause dull spots and spots that can eventually penetrate stainless steel. Ugly face and a lot of cleaning! That’s why it’s best to wash it right away or put it in the dishwasher right away.
3. The dishcloth is not in the sink
As with your dishes, it’s also not wise to leave dirty dishcloths in the sink. This is because they are full of bacteria, moisture and food residue. This ultimately has the same effect as dirty dishes in your sink. So don’t do that anymore.
