Capcom plans to release a major, unannounced game during the first three months of 2024. The publisher is announcing the news with its latest financial numbers. The title will likely be revealed during the Game Awards in December.
What is the mystery game? We can only guess. Since it’s an “important” release for Capcom, it could be a new installment in the Monster Hunter series. The series will celebrate its 20th anniversary in March 2024. Although it may be the long-awaited remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica Maybe even Devil May Cry 6. Or maybe a Dino Crisis remake?
There are several options, but we’ll probably have to wait until the Game Awards in December to reveal them. Unless Sony wants to unleash another State of Play on us in November.
Whatever its title, the game is sure to give Capcom characters a boost. The publisher is on track to achieve increased sales for the eleventh consecutive year. There’s no doubt that remaking the old Resident Evil game was a good choice.
