Kruidvat issued an important safety warning earlier this month. This had to do with face masks that were sold in Kruidvat and are now being recalled. Kruidvat also made the announcement via a Facebook message.
The message stated “quality problem”. This sparked curiosity. One follower asks: “What is the safety problem then?” “For example, isn't it just FFP2 and FFP1? Do rubber bands break very quickly or can you even inhale toxic substances? It would be great if you could also share with us what the problem is…”
Kruidvat Customer Service replied: “I understand that you would like more information about the warning. This batch does not meet the filtration and leakage rating. As a result, the masks cannot provide the required protective effect.”
This is how you get your money back
“We place high demands on the quality of our products and are sorry that this could happen,” Customer Service said. “You can return face masks to one of our stores, even without a receipt. And of course you will get your money back there.”
