When the princess disappeared from the scene for several months, the couple were haunted by rumors of serious marital problems. Although Albert and Charlene have always denied all the gossip, according to some, it seems the Prince has revealed that they don’t sleep together.
This past weekend, Prince Albert of Monaco gave a fantastic interview to the digital channel BN Sports. During the conversation, his private life was discussed several times and the prince frankly answered questions. For example, the King of Monaco was asked if he would take his two children with Charlene (8-year-old twins Jacques and Gabriella) to the school gate himself. To which Albert replied amusedly: “I bring them more than I bring them.”
The first meeting with Charlene in 2006 is also discussed. “We have an international swimming competition in Monaco every year in June. We talked after the match,” said the prince. I also gave her a medal for winning her race. Then the time came, and after that we discussed everything.

But at some point Albert was asked how he gets out of bed in the morning. The prince was asked if it was his wife who was waking him up. This does not seem to be the case, however, as the Prince states that “someone from the staff” came to wake him up. Then the prince was asked about the message with which the servant was waking him up. Prince Albert replied, “He’s knocking.”
As a reminder, when Charlene returned to Monaco after her absence, the palace hinted that the princess would continue her recovery at home. She was resting in the private apartments of the palace, alongside her husband and their children. But according to various media outlets, such as the German Gala and the French Adelpost and Closer, this was a lie. “The fact that Charlene does not currently live in the mansion speaks volumes. Although she and Albert have always publicly emphasized how much they love each other, ”it seemed at the time. There is now much speculation as to whether Prince Albert (accidentally or not) confirmed these rumors during the interview on ‘beIN Sports’.
