Space tourism seems to be the latest, biggest and most expensive craze. While we previously saw the wealthy and elite flock to the deepest oceans, they are now turning their sights to the cosmos, and this has led to the creation of all kinds of space projects and ideas.
One of them, known as the Neptune Spaceship, is essentially a chamber attached to a very large balloon that takes passengers to the far reaches of the atmosphere, stays there for about six hours, and then subtly drops back down to solid Earth. While this sounds like just an extravagant hot air balloon ride, the Neptune spaceship was designed for the wealthy and that's why it also offers a Michelin-starred dining experience.
Danish chef Rasmus Munk will lend his talents to the ship, where he will feed and drink passengers on their journey to the frontiers of our planet. Although you might be hoping for a chance to experience it for yourself, that's unlikely to happen anytime soon, as a ticket for this experience will set you back $495,000, which is a great investment for just six hours of your life.
