Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the counter-offensive against Russian forces is “progressing slower than would be desirable,” but that Kiev is not under pressure to speed it up as Ukrainian forces advance through dangerous minefields. Eight villages have been recaptured so far, according to Ukrainian authorities, but the main phase of the counter-offensive is yet to come, according to the Defense Ministry.
