showbizExactly 20 years after Nicole and Hugo played the lead roles in “Zo Mooi, Zo Blond”, this musical comedy was shown again this afternoon in Antwerp with Jackie Laffon, Gina Lisa and Yanni Bourguignon on stage. Many members of the BV attended this festive show and sang at the top of their lungs many of the Flemish songs that were performed.
The story takes place in the 1970s in Blankenberge. Nicole and Hugo sparkle at Heat Wet Cold, the guys dance to Flemish songs, and the sun spoils visitors at Camping Bonanza. At this campsite, we meet regular vacationer Janine (Jackie Lafon), who suddenly has new neighbors. Cois and José van ‘t Kiel (Gina Lisa Peters and Evan Picnik). Unfortunately, things don’t move between these new neighbors, but thanks to campsite operator Sylvain (Martin Bosmans), the atmosphere stays lively with the best Flemish music from the 1970s. The children (Yanni Bourguignon, Lisa Gerlot, Brent Pannier, and Laure Vin) discover love… and each other. With music by Nicole, Hugo, Anne Christie, Jamie Fry, Rita Deneuve, Luis Nieves and others.
