The do-it-yourself shop will build a new store on the site of the former Real Dancing Shop. Entrepreneur Tom Herren will move the existing site a little farther afield once the new building is ready.
It was already clear when businessman Tom Herren and his real estate company Limboma (now Tuaka Developers) bought the rundown discotheque Real in Tongeren in 2021: he wants to undertake a new construction project there. A new store building application was submitted some time ago. Public investigation of the new version of the real site will continue until Friday.
When the permit is complete, the existing store will be moved to the T-Forum. This is almost as opposed to the old disco. “With a branch outside the shopping centre, our customers who want to come and get something quickly won’t waste any time,” Tom Herren explains the plans. The importance of Limburg. “We also rent a building there from Retail Estates, the owner of T-Forum. Now we can move into our own premises where our clients will have more comfort.”
If all goes according to plan, the new Hubo should open its doors at the end of next year.
