“I know this sounds dramatic,” NikkieTutorials laughs from her hospital bed in front of her 18.7 million Instagram followers. “For the past year and a half I’ve been suffering from a growing cyst above my bottom, which is too much information.” A cyst is a cavity in the body that is filled with fluid or air. There can be several causes, such as infection. It usually doesn’t hurt, but with de Jager it does.

“It was starting to grow and ache and it’s been a complete nightmare for the past 5 days. The cyst was like: time to come out!” The stain was successfully removed on Wednesday. It is not clear where she was assisted and how long she will be in the hospital. “I’m so happy, because I don’t feel any pain anymore,” she says.

The Dutch world star is also happy with something else. She likely had an epidural injection before the operation, which caused her to lose feeling in her legs and feet after the operation. When she tries to move her legs during filming, they wobble weakly in her bed, much to de Jager’s amusement. “I don’t feel anything under my crotch. When I try to move my legs, this happens,” she says, after which de Jager shows how her legs lie in bed.
