Tesla cuts prices again, but not in Belgium: the Model 3 is about 4,000 euros more expensive with us than in neighboring countries | money

Tesla is once again applying price cuts in many European countries. As a result, the Model 3 costs just under €4,000 less in Belgium than in our neighboring countries, according to the configurator on the US electric vehicle manufacturer’s website.

It was announced last week that Tesla in the US has already cut prices for several models for the third time this year. It was announced on Friday that price cuts are taking place again in several European countries, Singapore and Israel.

For example, the basic version of the Model 3 in the Netherlands, France and Germany will now cost 41,990 euros. This relates to discounts of 3,000 euros for the Netherlands and France and 2,000 euros for Germany. In Belgium, the price remains unchanged at 45,970 euros.

In France, the price of the SUV Model Y has also decreased. It has fallen by 2,000 euros to 44,990 euros. In Germany this amount has been around that amount since January. In Belgium, the base version of the Model Y costs 47,970 euros, and in the Netherlands 46,990 euros.

Some versions of the more expensive S and X models are also getting cheaper in some European countries.
According to Tesla, lower prices are possible because the manufacturer is able to produce more cars. CEO Elon Musk hopes to stimulate demand with the strategy, after several quarters of disappointing deliveries. Next week, the company will report its results for the first quarter of this year.
