During his latest broadcast, Noah also spoke to all of the talk show’s reporters and received a number of emotional video messages from, among others, presenter Oprah Winfrey and actress Issa Rae. Comedian Neil Brennen, also a close friend of Noah, was a guest for the host’s final performance.

Noah took over from Jon Stewart who has presented the program since 1999. Craig Kilborn was the first host of the show to be brought to screen since 1996.
