Evidence of a possible Metal Gear Solid 4 and 5 Remaster has been spotted

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 has just been released, and already clues have been found for a possible release for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 featuring some favorite games from the franchise.

For example, a data miner spotted the names Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gears Solid 5, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker in the game code for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1. These are the names of the games missing from the folder. 1, but may appear in the final volume. 2.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is available now and contains the following remastered Metal Gear games:

• Metal equipment
• Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
• Metal Gear Solid (including VR/Special Missions)
• Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (HD Collection Edition)
• Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (HD Collection Edition)
• Metal Gear (NES/FC Edition version)
• Snake’s revenge

Data miners have now found clues to the games:

• Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
• Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain
• Metal Gear Solid 5
• Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is especially interesting, because this game was released only for PlayStation 3. The fourth part has not yet been released on PC or Xbox console. If the folder. 2 is now a reality, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be playable for the first time on PC and Xbox. There is also a possibility that Vol. 2 will also be released on the successor to the Nintendo Switch hybrid console expected to be released in 2024.
