Russia and the West cannot coexist, or at least if we believe the Russian preacher Vladimir Solovyov (60). According to the presenter of the state channel “Russia-1”, the West is Moscow’s “biggest existential enemy.” He predicts that this is why the war will continue for so long. He added: “If we become weak, they will destroy us.”
In the last broadcast of his radio show, Solovyov once again criticized Western countries, which he described as “Russia’s biggest existential enemies.”
“We must realize that the West is our systemic and ancient existential enemy. We cannot live together,” Solovyov sneered. “We have to be so strong that they bite their dirty tongues. Because if we become weak, they will destroy us.”
“Long war”
The Russian called on his citizens to be vigilant and warned them of a “long war” between Russia and the Western world. “We have to act only from the point of view of opportunism. We do not have to please them, we just have to realize that they are the enemy (…). This means that we have to fight for rationality. Not for them, but for us.”
Solovyov, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, is known for his provocative and anti-Western statements. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the promoter has repeatedly called on the Russian military to use nuclear weapons against countries that support Kiev.
